MRAEL was established to respond to youth unemployment and skills shortages, with a clear focus on creating opportunity through meaningful work and training. Founded as an apprentice employment service, our purpose from the outset was to help people gain skills and support employers to access job‑ready workers.
As workforce needs evolved, so did MRAEL. Our services expanded beyond apprenticeships to include employment pathways, training delivery, vocational education and wrap‑around support — recognising that sustainable workforce participation requires more than placement alone. This integrated approach allows us to respond to complex needs, remove barriers and create pathways that support long‑term success.
Today, MRAEL is a not‑for‑profit organisation delivering apprenticeships, employment and support services across Queensland and New South Wales. As part of the IntoWork Group, we combine strong local delivery with national capability, remaining focused on our purpose — creating opportunity, supporting people at every stage of their working life, and helping build a skilled, inclusive and sustainable future workforce.
