Special shoutout to our volunteers for helping us bring a heartfelt Christmas Day lunch to those in need

On Christmas Day 2025, MRAEL Shaping Futures proudly hosted our annual community lunch, welcoming 150 participants to share in the spirit of connection and generosity. The event provided a warm and inclusive environment for families, older community members, individuals with support workers, and those spending the day alone.

The hall was filled with conversation, laughter and the aroma of a hearty meal, creating a truly festive atmosphere. The day commenced at 10:00 am and continued until 2:00 pm, with guests enjoying every moment.

We were pleased to introduce taxi vouchers for this event, helping overcome transport barriers and ensuring more people could attend. This initiative made a significant difference for those who otherwise may not have been able to join us.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the volunteers whose dedication and enthusiasm were instrumental in the success of the event. From preparing and serving food to sharing in the celebrations, your contribution exemplifies the true meaning of community.
